i have decided to put one more song up on my blog before the year is through. enjoy

Who We Really Are

The smoke in the fireplace
From the fire that heats the room
So many memories
So many years have gone through

The trials on the mountains high
Remind us of who we really are
Through the good times and the bad
The answer never was very far

So fallen down, so long ago
Never thought we could get up
But we reached just a little longer
And we pulled ourselves a little higher

Chorus
Today's the day we won't forget
It's the one where everything will change
It's not about who's better then the rest
It's not about fortune and fame
Time will heal the broken dreams
Somebody said it's not over til it's over
But if you don't listen you'll never learn
So never tell yourself that it's over

The shallow and the vain won the day
But why does everyone want to be like them
They have the secrets kept inside
These places nobody has ever been

We carry on through the shadows that we see
They let us know just who we really are
They can't let go and they always remember
Who we were right from the start

This rain can't seem to wash away the past
It brings the cold back to never let us go
Turn on the lights to get away from it all
You learned the truth so you'll always know

Chorus
Today's the day we won't forget
It's the one where everything will change
It's not about who's better then the rest
It's not about fortune and fame
Time will heal the broken dreams
Somebody said it's not over til it's over
But if you don't listen you'll never learn
So never tell yourself that it's over

i've been quite busy recently but i just finally wrote a new one. take a look

Brighter Days

We broke the rules we followed
Cause they wouldn't let us go on
No more people to stop us now
We can finally go and move on

The door was closed again
And nobody could make it in
The days would pass us by
Who will bring an end to this

Chorus
Everything that you hoped for
Everything you always wanted
The lights shinin down the way
These will be the brighter days
I can't help but stand up now
The feelin makes you want to go
So what to what anybody says
These will be the brighter days

My eyes kept on burnin
The lies kept one turnin
Somebody yells what's up
But I'm lost in the crowd

I knew about the things they said
How they thought they could own me
But there will always be another dream
So I'm gonna let go of what I see

Chorus
Everything that you hoped for
Everything you always wanted
The lights shinin down the way
These will be the brighter days
I can't help but stand up now
The feelin makes you want to go
So what to what anybody says
These will be the brighter days

We broke the rules we followed
Cause they wouldn't let us go on
No more people to stop us now
We can finally go and move on

Chorus
Everything that you hoped for
Everything you always wanted
The lights shinin down this way
These will be the brighter days
I can't help but stand up now
The feelin makes you want to go
So what to what anybody says
These will be the brighter days

just started listenin to some different stuff and i came up with this. enjoy

I Was Stronger

In the time it takes to cry
I could've done somethin else
The lessons in front of me
Were meant for someone else

So close to the truth inside
Yet the fire just won't go away
I'm all burnt out inside of me
I've got nothin else left to say

Chorus
Everyday I let things get to me
With no fight left inside of me
My way was the easy way out
I just wanna scream and shout
I always knew I was stronger
But I could never believe it
Made things harder by myself
With all the time I spent listenin

The lowest point in my life
I spent inside the fires around me
I never brought it on myself
But no one else would let me be

By the time I knew what happened
I was lost inside of what they created
No more givin up for the sake of me
Gonna try again for myself instead
No more people to cause me pain
I won't let them use me once again

Chorus
Everyday I let things get to me
With no fight left inside of me
My way was the easy way out
I just wanna scream and shout
I always knew I was stronger
But I could never believe it
Made things harder by myself
With all the time I spent listenin

I never did a thing to hurt you
Just leave me alone, I'm not so bad
It's not my fault you chose me
I don't need you to make me so sad

Chorus
Everyday I let things get to me
With no fight left inside of me
My way was the easy way out
I just wanna scream and shout
I always knew I was stronger
But I could never believe it
Made things harder by myself
With all the time I spent listenin

i have a new song. feels like i haven't written in awhile so i slapped this together for the people that actually read my blog. enjoy and share the blog with anyone you think will enjoy the songs

Can't See The Sun

Too much time wasted thinkin
What life could be like another way
All the laughter takin away from me
Just tryin to move on an count the days

Before the sun comes up again
When midnight is still the time of day
So much time waiting to tick away
Where did it go what can I say

Chorus
I have realized I've waited too long
The day is long gone, I can't see the sun
So much for a brand new start
After the damage has been done

Streetlights are just about to come on
The stars in the sky are about to shine
But I don't know where I want to be
Cause I've lost everything that was mine

Emotions risin over the easiest things
Why can't I just calm down right now
Where's the sense in fighting back
Maybe it's time to take a bow
No more bleedin for a losing cause
No more thinkin about what once was

Chorus
I have realized I've waited too long
The day is long gone, I can't see the sun
So much for a brand new start
After the damage has been done

Friday, 25 November 2011

it shouldn't be this way but sadly this feels like the truth these days my friends.

See The Light

I want to tell you bout the best in life
But I wish even knew how it would feel
So many dreams not comin true
Where's my chance to seal the deal

I could write about whatever I want
And no one would bother to look up
I'm tryin for a world that doesn't care
I'll done with this, enough is enough

Chorus
Where's my glory, where's my success
I know it's waiting just outta my reach
It's far away now just outta sight
Why can't I just break on through
and see the light

I've waited so long to have it all
But it hasn't come to me and it never will
Why is it that people with no need
Get everything that they ever want

I'm tired of goin out to comeback alone
Nothin to lift me up, nothin to keep for me
No more cryin over what won't be mine
I can't help but want everything for me
Why does everything have to be this way
Why can't I have everything that I want

Chorus
Where's my glory, where's my success
I know it's waiting just outta my reach
It's far away now just outta sight
Why can't I just break on through
And see the light

People say money can't buy happiness
But I'm afraid I'd have to disagree
I know they're wrong deep down inside
I just want everything all for me

Chorus
Where's my glory, where's my success
I know it's waiting just outta my reach
It's far away now just outta sight
Why can't I just break on through
And see the light

this song is about trying to feel better. enjoy

Tell Me When You're Ready

I've heard the crimes, that you speak of
But time flies, no more time to say
Anything at the end of the day
No more things to speak of

Feels like the day was taken away
And nobody's gonna get it back
This might shake you down here
But there's no more time for fear
No more, no more

Chorus
You want to see the world now
You want to do what you want now
So tell me when you're ready
So we can go and find it for ourselves
We know we've got all the time here
And I just want to spend it with you
I can't be stopped just like that
So we can do what you wanna do

You thought you'd never see the show
All these places that you wanted to see
You should've known I could've taken you
So now you can see what you wanted to see

No more classes to steal your life away
No more rules to hold you down
If you wanted to see what it's really like
Then come and get your feet off the ground
I can't wait anymore come on come on
No more losin cause it's time to win

Chorus
You want to see the world now
You want to do what you want now
So tell me when you're ready
So we can go and find it for ourselves
We know we've got all the time here
And I just want to spend it with you
I can't be stopped just like that
So we can do what you wanna do

Don't think about all the time you spent
Waitin for the right one to come around
It's alright, everything will be alright
Come on just enjoy the lights

Chorus
You want to see the world now
You want to do what you want now
So tell me when you're ready
So we can go and find it for ourselves
We know we've got all the time here
And I just want to spend it with you
I can't be stopped just like that
So we can do what you wanna do

My song for Remembrance Day.

The Ones

The ones who would hold the line
The ones who kept us safe at home
Brave enough to step up to the cause
The ones who went out never alone

The least we can do is take a moment
Remember the past of the ones long ago
The people who never had a future
The ones who are lost where nobody knows

I know what you say, I know what you do
But you can never forget, what they did for you

Chorus
The light in the darkness for our lives
The answer to the crimes of war
We never wanted to see them go
But they would end up saving lives

Freedom fighters in there own right
The heroes of there time
The rescuers of freedom for the world
No man left behind

Run down and left in the cold
Can't even get up to save a life
Staying strong keeping the faith
War always cuts like a knife

I know what you say, I know what you do
But you can never forget, what they did for you

Chorus
The light in the darkness for our lives
The answer to the crimes of war
We never wanted to see them go
But they would end up saving lives

Number 5...Well actually number 6 but who's counting anyway.

Only So Many Places

If it's not right to fall this way
Then that's alright with me
If it's not ok to look my way
Then I'll have to get over it

Being alright with where I am
Was hard from the beginning
I had to tell myself once again
That fame and fortune isn't everything

Chorus
Here again I long to be inside
To hide away from the outside world
The only thing that mattered
I could not see
There's only so many places to go
But I will always find my way

There was no reason to hide away
I thought about it but nothin happened
Everytime I thought I knew it all
I had forgotten everything again

Closed away feelin like it's over
I wanna find another way to fame
It wasn't right and It ended there
I was stuck in the wrong game
The only reason I will ever know
Is that I needed to forget about it

Chorus
I no longer want to be inside
No more hiding away from the world
The only thing that mattered
I could not see
There's only so many places to go
But I will always find my way

No more tears to cry
No more fears to hide
I no longer hold back anymore
Nothing to lose
Everything to gain
Everything has opened for me

Chorus
I no longer want to be inside
No more hiding away from the world
The only thing that mattered
I could not see
There's only so many places to go
But I will always find my way

Number 4. I keep on writing

Lost In The Moment

Right before the sun went down
The rules would always stay the same
No one could fight no one would cry
That was how we played the game

As simple as life use to be
Night would come it grew so cold
Standing alone after the fall
No one who could be told
To go inside
Cause they are already there

Chorus
Loneliness comes down to a choice
Will it be taken that way for the moment
If only you dared to see it another way
You wouldn't be so lost in the moment

The ones who went outside at night
Were thought to be crazy outta there mind
Breaking the rules forsaking the voices
They wanted to do it on there own time

They would live the dream
No one could stand in there way
They held to what they thought was right
But they didn't see beyond tomorrow
Nobody asked themselves what's wrong
No one could see the future beyond tomorrow

Chorus
Loneliness comes down to a choice
Will it be taken that way for the moment
If only you dared to see it another way
You wouldn't be so lost in the moment

They sealed there fate on the other side
The doors were closing very fast
Then they realized one single thing
They were reliving there own past
It was never right
never was to begin with

Chorus
Loneliness comes down to a choice
Will it be taken that way for the moment
If only you dared to see it another way
You wouldn't be so lost in the moment

Number 3. I'm on a role tonight

I Won't be Company to Misery

I understand the pain inside
I know all too well about it
The tears that swell inside
But there's nothin good about it

Broken hearts will feel like forever
Like they just won't go away
It's no fun to keep it all inside
And you'll think about it for days

But there's always hope comin
Tomorrow could change everything
Nothin bad can come from lookin up
Just let it out and start to sing

Chorus
I won't be beaten by a passin affair
I won't beg to get away from suffering
I can show that I will be on top
I won't be company to misery

The words that I am lost for
Tell the story that's inside of me
Everybody around the world is the same
Different eyes but same thing we see

Feel like there's no use in tryin
Don't feel like getting up to go outside
Heartache feels like your best friend
But it's too far away from the end of the ride

You feel like everything is over
There's no hope for tomorrow to come
I understand what you're goin through
But it will change when I'm done

Chorus
I won't be beaten by a passin affair
I won't beg to get away from suffering
I can show that I will be on top
I won't be company to misery

There won't be any more tears to cry
The sun will break through the clouds
The world will be right once again
And you will be shouting out loud

Chorus
I won't be beaten by a passin affair
I won't beg to get away from suffering
I can show that I will be on top
I won't be company to misery

Number 2 comin at you

The Heroes That We Never Knew

A warning was sent
But no one paid attention to it
The lost could have stayed found
But ignorance is always bliss

A promise was made for freedom
But was it really supposed to be
Far away but never forgotten
It was never too late to see

Chorus
Remember the past
The heroes that we never knew
What they could have done
What they wanted to do
Never let go
Show them that you'll carry on
There's nowhere left to fall
No goin down til it's all done

The saviors of our generation
The ones we never wanted to be
What kind of world would do this
Who could let them never be seen

The lesson that we should've learned
The reasons were written everywhere
No matter how long it will take
We should not agree with what's not fair
So slow down and take a breath
Not everything has to be this way

Chorus
Remember the past
The heroes that we never knew
What they could have done
What they wanted to do
Never let go
Show them that you'll carry on
There's nowhere left to fall
No goin down til it's all done

These were the people who died
These were the people we let go of
We should have stepped up
We should never have given up
They were people just like us
And we just let them go

Chorus
So remember the past
The heroes that we never knew
What they could have done
What they wanted to do
Never let them go
Show them that you'll carry on
There's nowhere left to fall
No more goin down til it is done

I'm going to try to post a new one every time I write one. So here's number 1

No More

Broken down and buried here
The search was over long ago
Quietly the nights went by
In the end nobody will ever know

Can't believe it's all gone to dust
No way to go back in time
No way to stop yourself from this
You've been left behind

Chorus
Trapped inside a dusty hole
Sealed beneath the very ground
Crying out someone save me
But no one can here you now

Forever seems such a long time
Begging to see the light again
After all the lights go out
The only feeling left is pain

The stars go by to open your eyes
You find the strength to carry on
Pushing through the darkness now
You won't leave your work undone
The thin disguise that holds you back
Will be shed for your new start today

Chorus
You're no longer trapped inside a dusty hole
You're no longer sealed beneath the ground
No more crying out someone save me
Cause you've made it out alive and free

I just like the what it's about

Wrong Tonight

When right gets switched with wrong
When hate is what passses for love
Older people younger people
Hold each other down nobody's above

Each with reasons but they're the same
One reasons he's trying to save them
Another says she just wants it to go away
But they're still doin wrong to them

Chorus
Breaking the silence to save everyone
They must know that they aren't right
All alone is what I imagine they are
All I know is they've done wrong tonight

I was never lookin for another sad story
I was lookin for someone doin some good
All I found was a pass for acceptable
But it was never meant to be understood

Alleyways filled with things unspoken now
No one should ever see any of these things
On the street it's just about the same
But all the voices are gone and nobody sings

Chorus
Breaking the silence to save everyone
They must know that they aren't right
All alone is what I imagine they are
All I know is they've done wrong tonight

What makes it right what makes it wrong
I know inside what I need to do
I know there's more trouble in this city
But how can I close my eyes to all of this

Chorus
Breaking the silence to save everyone
They must know that they aren't right
All alone is what I imagine they are
All I know is they've done wrong tonight

Not the nicest of things but who cares. I like it.

Too Much To Bare

I've never seen more tears then now
I thought they only came out when your down
But I watched a waterfall come down
And all I heard was a screaching sound

Is it so hard to smile when it's not so bad
Does it hurt for you to admit the truth
It makes no difference what you say to me
Cause I don't care to tell you the truth

Chorus
No once cares what you whine about
No one cares when you scream and shout
Go look for someone else to care
Cause when you speak it's too much to bare

It's too bad when you lied again
That you came out and found who I am
My shadow doesn't reach far and wide
Cause I don't need all the attention

You will find me inside a state of hatred
Your still young so just give it a rest
Trying to put me down again and again
Only proves everything I've said
I listened to you go on and on
But the line is drawn and I am done

Chorus
No once cares what you whine about
No one cares when you scream and shout
Go look for someone else to care
Cause when you speak it's too much to bare

Go find somethin real to cry out for
Somethin in this world that really matters
I'm sick and tired of people just like you
Your unimportant pain I will shatter
And someday you will realize
That what I did was for the better

Chorus
No once cares what you whine about
No one cares when you scream and shout
Go look for someone else to care
Cause when you speak it's too much to bare

Apparently necessary. Well enjoy (the two people who read my blog)

The World On Fire

Born out of death and hate
Somethin eyes weren't meant to see
Things that make you run for your life
Things that bring you to your knees

A hand comes down over your mouth
You want to scream but you know you can't
Believin for someone to come save you
But no one came you don't understand
Why did this happen to you

Chorus
Life is taken away just like that
Drives you insane makes you mad
No one to take the blame
No one to take the shame
And you know that it's so sad
That you've seen the world set on fire

Lookin around to find a friend
But all you see is a world of hate
Nobody cares what happens to you
Unless they think they can get paid

The best think they've got it all
They can't be touched by the likes of you
The whole world is a bloody mess
And there's nothing else that you can do
Run, run, run for your life
Run til you can't run anymore

Chorus
Life is taken away just like that
Drives you insane makes you mad
No one to take the blame
No one to take the shame
And you know that it's so sad
That you've seen the world set on fire

Everyone made there choice in life
To get the best without the rest
Some made it there some fell behind
Now they're the ground for the best
But who really cares who they are
They aren't the sky holdin up the stars

Chorus
Life is taken away just like that
Drives you insane makes you mad
No one to take the blame
No one to take the shame
And you know that it's so sad
That you've seen the world set on fire

It's been awhile

Eastlink is now cracking down on people who torrent, usually for the most part just movies because they probable think that it's a huge problem for the movie industry. Because you know a movie that makes 200 million instead of like 201 million is really losing out. You just have to feel bad for them. They only make 200 million dollars of the movie. It must be hard for them to get by. Cause I know how hard it is to get by on only 200 million bucks. WAIT A MINUTE... I've never known that. How can a company honestly believe that torrenting is effecting movie sales. At the very most what it does is effect dvd purchasing and that was never high to begin with. It's another one of those companies who run what I like to call the quick buck policy. Rather then make more money at a later point they decide that the faster they can get money, the better.

It's exactly like almost every record company on the planet and because of this situation they will eventually be losing money. Record companies are living in the past. Torrenting does effect music sales but the money in music, for the artist was never in the sale of an album. It was always in the touring. Record companies try to take 100% of the profits as often as they can and artists don't try to get a better deal because they could easily lose the recording contract and they need the support of the company to advertise for the band and there albums. These quick buck policies need to come to an end in order for there to be even higher success in the industries, otherwise who knows what will happen...

This Is Not Necessarily How I Currently Feel. Remember That!

Dying Town

I heard the sound of a dying town
The screams of so many innocents
The ground was shakin it apart
Askin the heroes where've you been

Before the war for our freedom
Everybody could live there own way
But the sky's above turned to grey
And we knew that there'd come a day

Chorus
The walls were closin in on the chosen
And there was no escape to a home
The climb was long out of the danger
And lookin' around I was all alone
In a dying town
In a dying town

The people were shaken in disaster
And generations had fallen apart
The destruction all over the ground
Showed us no hope for a new start

All of the hopeless yelled we will die
And no hero stepped up to save us
I thought I could be the man we need
But I spent too much time covered in dust
I wanted to save my friends from it all
But I ended up stuck in the fall

Chorus
The walls were closin in on the chosen
And there was no escape to a home
The climb was long out of the danger
And lookin' around I was all alone
In a dying town
In a dying town

At first the saving had come in so fast
But then the world over just stopped carin'
They said that we were never gonna die
But all they did was keep on starin'

All the crimes that we have commited
Led us down to the path we walk along
I knew it was only a matter a time
But nobody listened to all of the wrongs

Chorus
The walls were closin in on the chosen
And there was no escape to a home
The climb was long out of the danger
And lookin' around I was all alone
In a dying town
In a dying town

I heard the sound of a dying town
The screams of so many innocents
The ground was shakin it apart
Askin the heroes where've you been

Chorus
The walls were closin in on the chosen
And there was no escape to a home
The climb was long out of the danger
And lookin' around I was all alone
In a dying town
In a dying town
In a dying town

Braveheart 2?

Today I watched a movie called Sword of War. It was one of the best movies I have watched this year...and it came out in 2009. It has a medieval setting that tries to follow history as much as it can while still keeping a great story. If this movie was released instead of Braveheart I would be pleased with the result. It is very similar to Braveheart in many ways and I highly recommend it. Not much else to say on the matter without giving away the movie too much. Just watch it for yourself and you'll know what I mean when I say it's very good.

Afterthought: I won't be posting every single day it will just be once in awhile so do remember to check in for anything new.

All Over The Place

Recently, I have been listening to a variety of things. Creed, Queen, Journey, just to name a few. But one artist that I listen to, I am not ashamed to tell people about. I listen to Micheal Jackson. Despite his questionable decisions in life I do enjoy his music. He is undeniable the King of Pop for a reason. From hits like Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, Beat It, Thriller, Bad and more, he has created some of the best pop music of all time. I will not be one to judge him on his life decisions throughout the years. There was definitely something different to his music that put him over the rest. He was quite talented at what he did.

Addictions of Many Varieties

Many people in the world today suffer from addictions. Some not so serious such as being addicted to a video game or some such and other that are very serious like drug addiction. No one person can go through a drug addiction and heal his or herself. They need the support and encouragement of others to get them through. Not to have others pretend to care but turn a blind eye when they are needed most. I feel like I should add more but I can't think of anything at 10 after 12 p.m.

Sunday, 21 August 2011

2 For 1. So why are you complaining about it?

Most people who didn't live under a rock during the late 90's have heard of the band Creed. For a while there they were the biggest band in the world. Bringing rock back to forefront of music, they were show what rock band could do in a mainstream and accessible fashion. After 3 highly successful albums the band called it quits. Then most of the members of the band formed a whole new band with a different singer called Alter Bridge. Alter Bridge also has 3 albums out like Creed does with some success. What makes me angry is so many people coming down on Creed not only for there sound but for the mistakes there lead singer Scott Stapp has made. Let me tell you he's not the first guy to make these mistakes and he certainly won't be the last. I like Creed and I like Alter Bridge. Maybe I might be the only one who thinks this but I think that Creed is better. Sure Alter Bridge is still pretty good and they are much better then a lot of what has come out in the music industry in the last decade but Creed seems to put it all together for me.

One of the biggest reasons I think Creed is better in my eyes is that there songs are not as forgettable as any Alter Bridge song. Maybe it's because of when Creed released there songs as opposed to when Alter Bridge released there songs but I just think that Creed is better. My mind is not going to be changed by anyone who disagrees. People have received 2 great bands out of Creed. Why is there any need to hate one or the other. Also as great of a singer that Myles Kennedy is, Scott Stapp is a much better singer in my mind. No questions about it. So yes, you could say I'm not a big fan of Alter Bridge and you might be right, I'm not a big fan of them. I still like some of there stuff but I like all of Creeds albums and to me Alter Bridge's first album is an extremely weak and forgettable album. The second album is probable the best and the third album is to same ole same ole. Most of the songs sound almost exactly like the next one on the album. Not to much variety for me.

I cannot stress this enough. There is no need to hate Creed or Scott Stapp regardless of how you feel about his mistakes. He has turned his life around. Why continue to hate him and Creed for his mistakes that he has atoned for. Give it a rest people, give it a rest.

Good Clean Fun

What's fun these days. Is it hanging out with your friends? Is it spending time with the family? Or is it something else? Anyone can seem to find anything fun these days. Of course I myself have my own preferences of what to do. Whether it's watching a movie, playing a game or something else. Now the real meaning of the title comes into play here. I've spent the last few days watching some movies. Most of them were comedies. My problem is the way that comedy films are done today. Each one usually seems to have a good idea. But there are some exceptions cough...the hangover movies...cough. Why does comedy always have to employ swearing or just raunchy, dirty humor. There is no need for there to be any of this in a movie just to make it funny. I find that all of the things just mentioned completely take away from a comedy. In fact I think that each of these things makes a movie completely horrible and quite a waste of time. I want to see something funny not something incredible stupid.

Complete and Utter Shock

For a band to have the hits that it had, you would expect a good live performance. Unfortunately, they could not deliver on that bit. In the later years of there 80's career they seemed to go downhill a bit with there music. The 90's certainly weren't kind thanks to the horrific awfulness that was grunge music but, I just started listening to an album they put out 4 years ago and have heard they are doing another one. If the last album is any indication then they are doing just fine. Of course, I am talking about the band Loverboy. I have to admit I like some of there early music. Later on in there career they had seem to become a bit repetitive however, there last album seems to have breathed new life into the band. I'll admit this review of it seems a bit late but it's just as classic in my opinion as there early music.

Dirty Lyrics

Now I listen to a lot of different things but most of it revolves around rock and roll music. I listen to things like Journey and Foreigner and bands with a similar sound. I have recently heard about from a few people how they do not like some of the other things I listen to like for example Whitesnake. I do listen to Whitesnake but only there latest stuff from the last few years. Otherwise I don't really listen to them. I like Whitesnake. I'm not that big of a fan of there lyrics though. I know they don't write the cleanest of lyrics but that is not why I like them. David Coverdale is an amazing singer and Doug Aldrich is an amazing guitar player. Just because one or two people think there lyrics are juvenile (which I do agree with for the most part) does not mean I will stop liking, nor should I be made fun of for doing so. It's a free choice for me to listen to Whitesnake and I will if I want to. Plus I know what some people listen to so I know I have not made the worst choice for music.

Welcome To The Show

This entry is just to introduce myself. I'm interested in writing about what I want to write about. Whether it's a movie or a game or something like that, I want to discuss these things the way I feel about them. Know this, I will be blunt and I will be honest. This is my blog and I will write what I want to. Feel free to comment if you wish but I will respond the way I normally would. All the world's a stage and I just took the center of it.
